We’re very glad to welcome Hannah Wanjiru to the project, who has joined us as a researcher on the mCHW project based at Amref Health Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Communication from the University of Nairobi.
Prior to joining the project, Hannah worked with the AMREF Kenya as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant. Her responsibilities included, supporting the project in the assessment of Ministry of Health information needs, supporting the project to set up M&E systems to capture key performance indicators for purposes of regular reporting and data use at the point of collection, monitoring and evaluation of project activities, capacity building activities at the national and county level and strengthening collaboration and coordination of partners and stakeholders at the national and county level. Before joining AMREF, Hannah worked in the private sector as an administrative manager for the silver pool investments. During this period, she acquired administrative and logistical skills. She has also worked as a consultant with the ministry of tourism as a research assistant.
Hannah established and maintained effective working relationships with government officials at the county, sub county and facility levels. She resides in Nairobi with her family and enjoys travelling.
