Simon Mbae joins us as AMREF’s new research assistant

We welcome Simon to the project as the AMREF research assistant. His role is to act as the critical bridge between the research project staff and Community Health Workers in Kibera and Makueni.

Simon is second year MPH (Epidemiology and Disease Control) student in Moi University/AMREF, Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. Since 2011, he has been involved in Public Health research both as a Research Assistant and Field Supervisor with various organizations among them Health Economics and Finance Development Consortium (HEFDC), IntraHealth International, School For Field Studies (SFS), UNICEF, and Kenya Association for Prevention of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (KAPTLD).
